GKP Taxi Services – Terms & Conditions
1. Governing Definitions & Agreement
By booking a service with GKP Taxi Services (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), operating from 540B, Mirzapur, Pachpedwa, Gorakhpur, U.P. 273015, you (“the Customer,” “you,” “your”) enter into a legally binding agreement and unequivocally accept all terms outlined herein. These terms supersede all prior communications and agreements.
2. Booking, Confirmation & Communication
- A booking is formally confirmed only upon receipt of a booking ID via SMS or email from our official systems.
- The primary channels for communication are our official phone number (+91 97935 59818) and email (info@gkptaxiservices.com). The Company is not liable for instructions sent through unauthorized platforms.
- You are responsible for verifying all journey details on the confirmation message. Any discrepancies must be reported to us immediately.
3. Fare Structure, Amendments & Payment
- Quoted Fare: The fare provided is an estimate. The final fare is calculated based on the actual distance traveled or time consumed, whichever is higher, plus all applicable tolls, state taxes, and parking fees.
- Route Deviations: Any change in the drop-off location or route requested by the customer after departure will result in a recalculation of the fare.
- Payment Obligation: Full payment is due upon completion of the journey. For outstation trips exceeding one day, the customer may be required to provide an advance or make daily payments.
- Payment Disputes: Any dispute regarding the fare must be raised before the end of the journey. Subsequent disputes will not be entertained.
4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- By Customer:
- Local Trips: Cancellation must be made at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled pickup to avoid a charge.
- Outstation Trips: Cancellation must be made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled departure.
- No-Show: If the driver arrives at the designated pickup point and the customer is not present after a 15-minute waiting period, the trip will be considered a “No-Show.” A cancellation fee (equivalent to the minimum fare of ₹150 or the waiting charges, whichever is higher) will be levied.
- By Company: We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to vehicle breakdown, force majeure (e.g., extreme weather, curfews), or safety concerns. Our liability is limited to a full refund of any advance payment.
5. Customer Responsibilities & Conduct
- Belongings: The Customer is solely responsible for their luggage and personal items. GKP Taxi Services is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property left in the vehicle.
- Vehicle Condition: The customer shall not cause any damage to the vehicle’s interior or exterior. The cost of repairing any damage or cleaning excessive mess (e.g., from vomiting) will be charged to the customer.
- Conduct: Smoking and consumption of alcohol or illegal substances inside the vehicle are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to terminate the journey immediately without a refund for any misconduct, with the customer being responsible for the full fare up to the point of termination.
6. Liability & Force Majeure
- The Company maintains its vehicles to high standards. However, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including missed flights, trains, or appointments, arising from delays caused by traffic, road conditions, weather, or other factors beyond our control.
- The total aggregate liability of the Company for any claim shall never exceed the total fare paid for the specific journey in question.
7. Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising from our service shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
8. Amendments to Terms
GKP Taxi Services reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website (https://gkptaxiservices.com/). Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
